VELUX Airport BER

The opening of Berlin's BER airport brought the issue of noise protection into focus - especially for residents living in the flight path. VELUX launched a campaign in which specially designed soundproof windows were offered at a discount - exclusively for households within a defined radius around the airport.

For this campaign, I designed the ad for both digital and print media. I developed an independent design concept and created an individual brush that imitated the look of contrails. The central idea: an airplane writes the word “Pssst” in the sky -
a visual statement that is both eye-catching and thematically apt.

Several design approaches were discussed, but ultimately the choice fell on this idea, which was then successfully published.

I did this during my agency time at Albert Bauer.
